Background and Circumstances

Inspired by Ted Dekker’s Circle Trilogy, this RPG is currently a year before the first chapter in Red(the second book) and fourteen years after the ending of Black(the first one). There are two separate races of people…The Horde: who are desert dwellers, inflicted a with a painful disease of their skin, because of their refusal to bathe in Elyon, the Creator’s, lake. And then there are the forest people, Elyon’s beloved, who live in seven scattered forests across the desert. Each forest has its own lake, to which this people are faithfully required to bathe every day lest they turn into scabs themselves. Both races are passionately apposed to one another. The Horde’s desire the forests’ lumber to build their cities, and they hate the forest people for their loyal obedience to the Creator, Elyon. The forest people in return hate the Horde (or scabs as they call them because of their flaky skin) for their violent brutality and filthy skin. Only someone cursed of Elyon would turn their back on him, some would say.
The army of the forest people is called the Forest Guard, made up of every person over the age of sixteen who can wield a sword and ride horse. They are the defenders of the forests, keeping their growing tribes of children alive and safe. And every year they hold a huge Gathering of all the people in the center forest, to celebrate the life they have with Elyon. This is Thomas’s forest. Thomas of Hunter is the leader of the forest dwellers, their general. But this is a dangerous time for forest people, as their homes are left with only slim amount of guards. And Horde attacks over the last three years have become more frequented and deadly.
At present, the annual Gathering has just ended. The tribes are returning to their forests, under the watchful and vigilant eye of the Forest Guard. The Southern forest is the home of nearly all current pcs at the moment. And everyone is just arriving after their long journey from the north. Pcs can range from children, to Forest Guard scouts, to army commanders or the enemy’s side…scabs.
It would be helpful if everyone who writes on this rpg has read the books, or has basic knowledge of the story. And as for just basic knowledge, the forest army is only called the Guard at this present time. The events in Red have not happened, Justin has not declared peace, or given his life, or claimed his people as the Circle. As of norm, most scabs are adamantly apposed to bathing, because the process is painful. The forest people are strongly against it as well, because of their growing population and the danger it presents of bringing in their hated enemies. Justin’s unconditional love for the Horde is not yet known and the Guard holds strictly to their rules upheld by the elders, the leaders of the tribes…the Horde is to be avoided and killed at every cost.

Recent Events

- Rachelle, a sixteen-year-old scout from the Southern Forest, rescues a wounded scab officer, Jared. The Guard was escorting the southern tribe home across the desert when attacked by small detachment under this scab’s command. Her fellow partner, Tristan, refuses to kill him when ordered, after experiencing a strange vision of a little boy. Jared is then taken prisoner, and his wounds attended to. Meanwhile Brian, the major, commanding officer of the Guard Rachelle and Tristan are under, has secretly been working with someone everyone thought was dead…Jason. To everyone’s shock Jason reappears, and joins the Guard once more. Once everyone reaches the forest, Rachelle must face the family, and the mother she left behind. She dreads telling them the news that her oldest sister, Valerie, is now dead. Not to mention that she’s discovered her real father and another sister…who also dead.
Everyone else rejoices in the homecoming, except the scab, Jared, who secretly plots revenge in his prisoner cell. Brian in return plans on getting information out of the scab…who he doesn’t realize is an officer.

Rachelle of Southern ~ Rachelle
Forest Guard - Scout - Dark hair, green eyes, sixteen-years-old. 5’6”

When she was fifteen Rachelle ran away from home to follow in her older sister’s footsteps and join the Guard. Stationed in one of the northernmost forests, she immediately was thrown into conflict and battle. Despite her youth she managed to stay alive, thanks to the instruction and protection of an older scout, Jason, who has become nearly a brother to her. Unfortunately, during the first week of training, a mark was discovered on her left shoulder. The brand of one chosen for sacrifice by the scabs to their heathen god, Teelah. Despite everyone’s best efforts she was eventually kidnapped and nearly killed, until her scouting partner, Tristan, rescued her. The mark was erased and she was free.
Rachelle endured many adventures over the next year. Her real father, a scab general was discovered by her sister Valerie. Then to their shock, they discover they had an older scab sister as well, Keira. Their sister is saved and becomes one of them, but their father, blinded by rage and hate, escapes and returns to his people.
Later Keira is unexplainable assassinated.
The Guard fights more battles and Valerie is abducted and left for dead. Rachelle sets out on a brief journey to save her with Jason, but soon discovers another has rescued her…and Valerie, suffering a blow to the head, has lost all memory of her past.
The annual Gathering begins as Rachelle must cope with her sister’s confusion and the diverting attentions of Tristan, who is beginning to care for her more deeply than just a friend.
Then on the first leg of the journey home, Rachelle faces a devastating blow. Both Valerie and Jason have been killed. Just returning from a brief trip at the nearby forest to gather volunteers, Rachelle must swallow her grief and prepare for yet another battle, when their tribe and the Guard are attacked.
Strangely after the battle is over, she has mercy on a wounded scab. When they return home, Rachelle thinks nothing of it, as he locked away as a prisoner. She has bigger problems, like explaining to her blind and mentally ill mother that Valerie is dead.
Shockingly, Jason is no longer dead having appeared right after the battle in the desert. Rachelle will have more time to mull over this after the tension and pressure of returning home has abated.

Tristan ~ Rachelle
Forest Guard - Lieutenant scout - Blonde hair, blue eyes, nineteen-years-old , 5’11”

A member of the Guard since sixteen, he is a dependable fighter and an excellent rider. At random times strange visions of a little boy appear to him. Like when he and Rachelle are both taken captive, during the time of her marked shoulder. The night intended for her sacrifice he encounters a child, who tells Tristan to write in the book next to him and change the future. (Unknowingly he finds the tent where the ‘books of history’ are stored). He writes, throwing the entire enemy camp into a deep sleep, while Rachelle escapes. But then mysteriously he is knocked in the head and forgets everything when he wakes up and is shockingly surprised to find her safe and well.
Then when Rachelle demands that the Guard show mercy to a wounded scab, he finds himself ordered to execute, the boy appears again. He tells Tristan that the scab, Jared cannot die. Tristan does as he says, suddenly overwhelmed with the desire not to.
Now he has returned home to the Southern Forest, eager to return to his regular Guard duties of patrolling the forest.

Mark ~ Rachelle
Forest Guard - Swordsman - Dark hair, green eyes, dark skinned, 6’

A recent volunteer of the Southern Forest Guard, he is strong fighter and a loyal companion. Currently his past is unknown, expect that he is acquainted with Rachelle.
He is in the Southern Forest.

Jason ~ CW
Forest Guard - Swordsman/scout - dark hair, green eyes, around 26

Holding the memories of a tragic past, Jason is an extremely bent on destroying all scabs in his path. Close friends with both Tristan and Rachelle, he grieves the death of his former Guard companions, Anna and Valerie. Recently thought dead, he returns to shock everyone. (he actually did die, but Elyon sent him back) Intent on a new goal in penetrating the enemy’s lines, he and Brian seem to keep a few secrets from the others.
Currently within the Southern Forest.

Brian ~ Intrepid
Forest Guard- Major/Swordsman - 29-years-old, large build, 6’3”

After losing his father and brother to the Horde, Brian joins the Guard to avenge their deaths. Commanding leader of his patrol in the Southern Guard, he is willing to break rules to get things done. Including allowing a wound scab prisoner to live.
Good friend with Andres and "boyfriend" of Kayla. He is fearless and not afraid of the Horde. Though small compared to the Horde, he believes the Guard can win against the Horde and he will follow Thomas of Hunter’s orders to the end.
Currently at home in the Southern Forest.

Forest Guard - Captain – 26-years-old

Andres is an officer under Brian’s command. Grieving the recent death of his wife Anna, Andres has taken under his wing a young boy he rescued from scabs not long ago. Currently within the Southern Forest.

Matt ~ SG
Forest Guard - Raw recruit – 16-years-old.

After being rescued by Andres, when his entire family is murdered by scabs, Matt makes the Southern Guard his new family. He proves his bravery, though recklessly, during the recent battle in the desert. He is in the Southern Forest.

Liv ~ Tanya
Forest Guard - Captain – 21-years-old

Newest officer in the Southern Guard, Liv has taken the place of the late Ana, Andres’s deceased wife. Novice fighter looking to be accepted in a new leadership role. Lives in the Southern Forest.

Kayla ~ Kate
Forest Guard - Scout/Nurse.

"Girlfriend" of Brian. After undergoing an adventure with a couple friends out in the desert, she has returned none the worse for wear. Currently within the Southern Forest.

Jared ~ Seth
Captain/Swordsman – 19-years-old, 6’

He was taken by the Shataiki as a child when Tanis ate the fruit. Both parents and younger sister are dead. Taken prisoner after a miraculous act of mercy on the part of the Guard. Appears to have mysterious motives of vengeance or perhaps desire to prove himself. Currently a prisoner within the Southern forest.

Beloved wife, best friend and seasoned fighter. She dies from her wounds not to long before Valerie does. Her husband is still grieving her sudden death.

Backgrounds and Circumstances

Based on the classic trilogy the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. This takes place long after the war of the ring is over. However, not all the elves have left yet and some have even returned. The background of this RPG is that across Middle Earth, various groups have arisen to form a coalition of races against an unknown threat. These coalitions don't always get along. In fact, they war. The two major leaders of the two major coalitions are both power hungry and would not make good potential leaders of the whole of Middle Earth. While the wars rage, people from the 21st century of Earth begin to appear all over Middle Earth. The catch is this- although they have the memories and personalities of their 21st century lives, they are in middle earth people's bodies and are seemingly chosen at random. From bandits to coalition leaders, the people are varied in every way imaginable.
Recent Events

-The company was captured by a coalition led by Alvina's fiancé, Daugon. Alvina killed him and they managed to escape, using Avanti as their guide. Avanti inadvertently led them into a passageway that was sealed off, almost suffocating them all. They managed to make it to safety by using a underground tunnel. completely in the dark, Avanti tripped and slid down several hundred feet into frigid waters. She had accidentally dragged Nessa down with her but the tewo were rescued by Feredir, a coalition leader who has now turned bad. The company was reunited and were brought to the council of the coalition leaders where they learned that Alvina had betrayed them and had taken the place of her dead fiance, leading an army and a coalition.

Alvina/"Aerynna" ~ Tanya

Elf turned human by deception.
Before her mind was invaded with memories of 21st century Earth, Alvina was the fiancé of Daugon, a large coalition leader who is the nemesis of Avanti. Alvina has very few memories of Daugon and her memories of Earth are fading. Mostly, her memories include what happened to her before meeting Daugon. Lied to for several weeks by the agents of the true enemy in Middle Earth, and being told she was "Vanmoriel", she steadily is loosing her grasp of reality. Her companions kidnapped by her fiancé, Alvina pretended to betray her companions so as to gain Daugon's trust. Following the escape of her companions, she murdered Daugon. While company traveled on to rescue Nessa and Avanti, Alvina stayed behind and secretly made things ready to marshal Daugon's army and coalition. Because Daugon named her his heir, she is technically in command of the coalition now. She claimed she will disband the coalition to her companions but that was a lie. In the midst of escaping from the council of the coaltion leaders, Lassiel fired a shot intended to kill Alvina but hit thengal instea,d tragiclly kkilling him. Only Avanti, Lasiel, and Alvina know the truth about Thengel's death. The rest are still in the dark. After the company escaped, Alvina's men came after them and they are now in that predicament.

Avanti/"Verya" ~ Tanya

Deceptive coalition leader.
Pretending to be a human known as Verya, she hid the fact she had murdered the true Verya and taken her place. And thus Avanti deceived her companions into thinking she was like them (With memories from the 21st century) and also the enemy into thinking she was one of their brain-washed elves. In this matter, she discovered information about the company. Once she assessed them as a threat, she kidnapped Estelwen, the leader of the group. Estelwen and Avanti were later captured by Daugon, Avanti's archenemy. She helped the company escape from their cells via an escape passageway but didn't get far before becoming stranded from the group along with Nessa. She was just rescued from drowning by an elf known as Feredir but injuries sustained during a fight caused her to fall ill. She is recovered now and served as guide to the company but was captured by Alvina.

Estelwen ~ Del

Former bandit turned company leader.
She used to be a bandit. Now she is the leader of a group of mismatched people with memories from the 21st century. She was recently kidnapped, and then kidnapped again but recently escaped. She led the company through a system of tunnels beneath Daugon's headquarters and was captured by the council. With the help of Avanti, they all escaped (minus poor thengal) but were captured by the treacherous Alvina not long after.

Nessa ~ Kate

Mirkwood elf.
Is part of the company sent from earth to restore peace to middle-earth. Has very little memory left from the 21st century. Was recently captured by Daugon, but escaped with the help of Avanti. Was split up from the rest of the group with Avanti, and fell into an under ground lake. Just met another Mirkwood elf, who saved Avanti from drowning, lead them out. Now it appears he has switched sides and is serving Alvina.

Lassiel ~ Tanya

Loth Lorien elf.
Recently arrived in middle-earth, and still has all of her 21st century memories. Was captured with the others, and is now escaping with Athniel whom she likes.

Balin ~ Zilla

Gondorian ranger.Originally from middle-earth, met the group, and joined. Was captured along with Estelwen, Nessa and Gabby. Is imprisoned alongside Gabby.

Gabby ~ Sam

Hobbit.
Brought from earth to join the company. Has returned to earth once, but then came back. Thus showing that it is possible to get back. Was captured along with the others, and is now with Balin, still imprisoned.

Thengel (deceased) ~ Nik

Rider of Rohan.
Came from earth, but has few memories from there. Father was killed by the “monster”, and he is seeking to avenge that death. He was not captured with the rest of the company, but was reunited with them.

Athniel ~ Slater

Elf.

Was the most recent to join them. his previous earth life was not a pleasant one but now that he is one Middle Earth he seems to have inherited excellent fighting skills and an inherent distrust for other people, save Lassiel.

Backgrounds, Circumstances, and Recent Events

With the Second Punic War with Carthage in position to start, the Senate begins to debate the drafting of men and calling of the reserves. With this Antonious heads to Rome to consult in the Senate's decision making. While in Rome Antonious runs into Justinious and his family on holiday in Gaius's Inn. While telling his family that it was purely pleasure, Justinious hides his business motive, Unknown to Antonious, Darius and Cassina too are staying at Gaius's Inn. After conferencing with Antonious, Justinious goes shopping with his family, seeing Dianna pass on her carriage. Dianna accompanies Darien on a "mission" to recapture his his love, Julia. After returning home, Julia learns that her other brother, Marcus, was injured in a skirmish.

With Dianna's father back home, the decision is made to retrieve Marcus from the war. It is eventually settled that Dianna and a fellow servant, Cephas, is chosen to do this task. With a ten day journey before her, Dianna sets out.

Justinius is a heavy infantry centurion in the Petra Legion. Loud and boisterous Justinius is battle hardened but finds time to be a family man as well taking care of his two sons, his daughter and his wife.

Wife of Justinius, Valius is cold to the Roman way of life. She sees war as an abomination and a waste of life. She never has felt comfortable with her husband's service but she realizes that it is an income few could argue with.

Darius is a Heavy Calvary Centurion in the Petra Legion. Little more could be gathered about Darius.

Mongoose ~ Antonious Marius

Antonious is the Supreme Commander of the Petra Legion. He commander all troops, calvary, machine, and animal units in the Petra Legion. In short, he's the top dog. In addition Antonious reached his rank in record time currently 33 years old and holding one of the most prestigious ranks in the world.Thus, living in an excellent housing condition. Excelling in spear warfare, Anotonious is a gracious commander understanding his officers and the people of Rome.

After a life of long suffering, Gaius runs a local inn in Rome. Making good money he houses Roman soldiers included the above listed men.

ElvenPrincess (EP) ~ Cassiana Ambrosia

Cassina is a female who joins the Roman legions as a male under false pretenses--obviously. She is twenty and serves as a foot solider in the Petra Legion.

Samantha ~ Genevieve

Genevive is a half roman, half Greek roman citizen. Her brother serves Rome as a foot solider as she enjoys prospects of a rich uncle in Rome with whom she resides.

Rachelle ~ Dianna Comnieus

Dianna is a Roman citizen, daughter of a senator, and fiancé of a Roman officer, living in Rome. Though proficient in swordplay, Dianna prefers the royal life, and has two older brothers Darien and Marcus.

Backgrounds and Circumstances

This RPG is based off the conflict between the north and south during the years of 1861 -1865. At the moment it is nearing the end of 1861, right before Christmas. Only one major battle has been fought so far, the first Battle of Bull Run. Tensions are very high between people, with friends and family separated on different sides of loyalty. Some to the north, others to the south. Society varies, from rich plantations owners to middle-class farmers to dirt-poor slaves. Most of RPG is made up of soldiers, spies and southern belles at the moment, and those vastly in favor of the south. North could use some reinforcement in that area. *grins* The Christmas season is approaching Richmond, so pcs in the capital are preparing for the social season. Other pcs farther down south are no doubt doing the same, and anxiously waiting to see which direction the war goes.

Recent Events

- Mikayla Daws and her brothers escaped on horseback when their farm, in Tenessee, was attacked by Yankee Calvary. The yanks were searching for Mikayla’s oldest brother Jake, a southern spy. Their mother was left behind. Nothing further is known yet.

- Gabe Wilks, a Yankee Calvary officer, formerly off duty, has returned to his regiment in the north. Leaving behind his closest friend, Anna Richards, in Richmond, who is secretly a northern sympathizer.

- Elizabeth Fleming, newly engaged to Lieutenant Nathan E. Douglas, a spy with Mosby’s Raiders, grieves over his departure from Richmond. Meanwhile the city itself prepares for Christmas, and Elizabeth begins her own espionage career in alliance with Nathan’s own ring of informers.

Elizabeth Fleming ~ Rachelle

Blonde hair, blue eyes, 5’4”, 17 years old.
Known as Lizzy, to those nearest her, Elizabeth has been raised her entire life on Dogwood Manor in Atlanta, Georgia. Her father, Captain Robert Fleming, runs a cotton plantation. Her mother, Flore Fleming is highly strict matron, with stern views in propriety and honor. John, her only brother, is a lieutenant in the Confederate army. She also has a younger sister, Violet.
When the war was announced during the spring of 1861, Elizabeth, was annoyed at first by the inconvenience, more distracted by her friends, Rebecca and Millie’s own intrigues with men and the like. But after visiting her cousins in Richmond over the summer, and meeting an impulsive confederate lieutenant, her views on the war have a taken on a more serious turn. Not to mention falling head over heals in-love with the rascal.
Briefly returning home, to see friends and family once more, Elizabeth is revisiting Richmond yet a second time, for the holiday season. Once there, her impulsive lieutenant appeared again, a Nathan E. Douglas, and literally offered a proposal of marriage, right on the spot. She hesitantly agreed, though anxious over her parent’s reaction, should they find out Nathan’s poor upbringing. Now, taken over with a serious decision of joining Nathan and his ring of spies, she already begun steps in assisting him in that direction. Beginning with a lady who lives on the Potomac River.

Nathan E. Douglas ~ Rachelle

Curly auburn hair, green eyes, strong build, 6 ft., 20 years old.
The son of a poor Tennessee farmer, he holds the rank of lieutenant under the command of General Mosby. Located somewhere in the Shenandoah Valley.
Publicly he is a mounted Calvary officer, but secretly Nathan’s an undercover agent for the Confederacy’s Intelligence.
His former childhood a playmate, Gabe Wilks, has joined the Union army, much to his dismay and regret. And Nathan has even grown more angry over his old friend’s disloyalty, when Gabe steals protected Southern documents, when supposedly on leave from the army. Before Nathan can catch the man, he escapes back to his own lines.
Meanwhile, he’s found love with someone he did not expect, a rich plantation heiress, Elizabeth Fleming. During the first Christmas party of the season, he impulsively purposes to her. But later writes an anxious letter to her father, in hopes of blessing. Receiving orders to leave Richmond for the Shenandoah Valley once more, he has not received a reply as of yet. Meanwhile he leaves Elizabeth with a ring, and a letter of instructions to follow, acquiescing to her voluntary help in his affairs.

Mikayla Daws ~ Sam

16 years old.
Born and raised on a horse ranch in Tennessee, Mikayla is twins with her brother Calin, and a younger sister to two more brothers and a married sister. The sister lives in the north with her Yankee husband and little daughter. Mikayla also has one younger brother. And the family is still growing, her mother pregnant with the seventh. Mikayla loves horses, and has free spirit about her, encouraged by her equally wild brother Calin.
Unfortunately their father was killed at the first battle of the war, Bull Run. And the family has struggled to keep things together, and live through the grief over the past year. Their slaves, each one dear to the family, would be hard to let go. And therefore the war is doubly heartrending. She also writes occasionally to her cousin, Anna Richards, in Richmond.
Both older brothers are in the war, Jake, the oldest returned briefly, while escaping capture. He is a rebel spy. Tragically he has put the entire family in danger. Only days after he leaves, Yankees arrive and attack their house. Mikalya, Calin and the youngest brother, Abe, barely escape in time, with only two horses. Leaving the rest of their prize herd of mustangs, in the hands of their enemies…and their mother as well.

Anna Richard ~ Kate

Brown hair, green eyes, 5’7”, 19 years old
Lives on a plantation near Richmond, Virginia. Has two younger siblings, and is friend’s with Elizabeth and Elizabeth’s cousin, Sarah. Secretly harbors sympathies towards the north, even though she owns slaves. Anna has often asked her parents to free them.
Brought up as a proper lady, she knows how hold her own at parties and socials, but really struggles living among people who do no share her views on the war.
Upset by the conflict between Gabe Wilks and Nathan Douglas (via, Gabe’s enrollment with the Union army), she finds herself torn, between telling her friend Elizabeth the truth, or staying loyal to Gabe, her best friend. Eventually, even after Elizabeth finds out about Gabe’s true loyalties, neither knows the other’s knowledge of it, and therefore nothing has been spoken between them. After both young men leave, the subject is temporarily dropped. At present Anna is preparing for Christmas.

Gabriel Wilks ~ Kate

Around 20 years old. Blonde-headed.
He was born in Tennessee, when he was very young, near Nathan’s farm, his childhood buddy. But orphaned not long afterwards. Gabe was then taken in by Anna’s family, as a child, though he kept in contact with Nathan over the years. At the start of the war, he enlisted in the Union army. For while he had no idea Nathan knew, until a they chanced to meet at the Christmas party in Richmond. Finding a sympathizer and loyal friend in Anna, he returned to his regiment satisfied. But he carried stolen documents with him, the ones Nate is after him for.

Samuel Remmington ~ Seth

Dark-headed, blue eyes, medium height, strong build, 19 years old
Elizabeth’s charming older cousin, a calvary officer under General Mosby. Best friends with Nathan Douglas. Always cheerful, but sensible, Sam finds it hard to reign in his impetuous cousin’s reckless passions.
Not a spy, but connected to Nathan through various intrigues, unknown as of yet, Sam helps him uncover Gabe’s theft of the documents, blueprints of the Richmond’s prison system. Unfortunately they discover it to late, but Sam continues to help his friend with Nathan’s own private affairs concern Elizabeth.

Millie Benfield ~ Sufficientgrace

Currently lives in Georgia. Married to George Wellington, who she calls Wells. Is enduring the winter visiting with Elizabeth’s mother, Flora, while waiting for letters from Wells, who is in same regiment with Chase and Henry.

22 years old.
Childhood friends with Rebecca, Millie, Elizabeth and Henry, George Wellington, grew up in Georgia in entire life. Married secretly to Rebecca, because of her father’s disprovable. Currently is living with the army, while it camps through the winter.

Elsa Sharp ~ Tanya

18 years old.
A southern belle married to a union soldier against her parents' will. She grew up in Virginia but recently moved to Georgia under her parents wishes that she remained safe. A while before she moved to Georgia, she had met and fallen in love with a union soldier, Ethan Sharp. Within a week of her moving to Georgia, the two eloped. The last thing to be heard of them by her Southern friends were that they were moving up north so that Ethan could return to the army life.

Ethan Sharp ~ CW

19 years old.
A union soldier who fell in love with a southern belle. He was sent on a covert mission by the Union to investigate Georgia on his leave and discover whatever action they may be taking. While down south, he eloped with Elsa Smithson and became happily married. unfortunately, his duties required him to go back North so he and Else packed up and left Georgia. Elsa headed towards her home in Virginia to notify her parents of the marriage but Ethan headed back up to the union headquarters.

After it is decided that Toyotomi's shogun will attack and invade the Yukinaga land on which Takai and his family reside, Toyotimi enlists the help of Ryuu to assassinate key members of the Yukinaga shogunate.

Kieta intends to join this fray as an assassin likely on the side of the Yukinaga shogunate to combat Toyotomi's assassin Ryuu.

Character Outlines

Intrepid/Toyotomi Hiroshi

Samurai on a shogunate in Japan. He is one of the younger samurais on the land but is experienced in the samurai way of life. Unmarried his life is filled with following orders and bringing honor to his family.

Godzilla/Takai Yukinaga

Apparently a high ranking samurai on his land. His father is the shogun with Takai's older brother next in line for the land inheritance as well as control of the land.

Lindisfaran/Ryuu Takashi

Ryuu is a mysterious assassin about whom little is known. He recently added another kill to his name. His ruthlessness is wide spread and make him known as one of the best and most sought after hit men.

Mongoose/Antonii

Born in Scotland with the heart of a vagabond, Antonii seeks satisfaction of his wander-lust in the far reaches of the earth including the Holy Land and eventually Japan. Skipping sepuku, or suicide because of dishonor, he ran. He exiled himself to the Northern Island of Japan where he returned to his Catholic ways and supported himself on a farm.

Kieta Tanaka/Kieta Tanaka

As Kieta as not been officially introduced into the storyline, it is understood that he intends to join as a Ninja assassin.

Backgrounds and Circumstances

Based on the classic Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. This takes place during the reign of the four children. Talking animals are acceptable PCs. (personal Characters.) The background of this RPG is high tension between the country of Narnia and the country of Calormene, with Archenland watching and waiting. War has not broken out yet, though the countries are close to it. Aslan the great lion has not been seen for some time and some Narnians are beginning to doubt. The royal court has formidable pressure regarding the imminent war though they have taken no action thus far.

Recent Events

We have skipped five years into the future. Here has what has happened during that time:

-Alice, Lydia, and Jason enlisted Hope to help Christopher escape from prison (he had been taken the fall for his girlfriend's, Alice, crimes.) In the process, Lydia killed a guard but set it up to look like Hope did it.

-Hope and Xavier have two children (Xavier and Sophie) but they are currently in Archenland with a good family friend- Doctor Roberts. He is seeking the aid of Alice's good friend, Elly, though whether or not she will help them is yet to be seen.

-Lydia poisoned her sister Alice but its lethal nature is doubtful whether it will work. When Alice, the twins, and the doctor escaped from Lydia, Alice sent them on to her friend but Alice herself insisted on going back for Christopher, the man she loves who was turned in to the law by Jason so as to further frame Hope.

Character Outlines

(Formerly Lady) Alice of Narnia ~Tanya
Blond Hair, blue Eyes, average build, and medium height. 28 years old.
Raised by the late Sir John (of Calormene)
Her father is the late Thomas of Archenland. He was a man of high standing but eventually turned to being a bandit. Alice did not discover John was not her father until she was 23 years old.
She was childhood friends with (former Captain) Lydia supposedly of Narnia until it was discovered that Lydia was a traitor, working as a for-hire-spy for the Calormene government. Their friendship has since been dissolved.
Alice is a lady of the Narnian court, making her a target for recent attacks.
Lady Alice befriended and fell in Love with Lieutenant Christopher of Narnia. Their courtship has continued in a casual manner. Recently, Alice discovered Lydia was her half sister and then aided her in Lydia’s escape from prison. Alice accidentally killed a man but covered it up. Her boyfriend was assigned to the murder case on the contingent of a promotion over his head. Christopher was unaware of Alice’s guilt until her hurried departure. Five years later, she worked as a bartender using her nickname "Ali" as a cover. That was all over when Lydia and Jason showed up, told her what had really happened to Christopher after her escape, and convinced her to return. Alice recruited Xavier's wife, Hope, in to the foray and they escaped from a secure prison with Christopher. Later on, Alice was kidnapped by her sister but escaped. She is poisoned and thinks she is about to die so refused to flee Narnia, so as to go back for Christopher.

Lydia of Calormene ~Tanya
Red hair, green eyes, 31 years of age
Her past was somewhat of a mystery even to her, but she later discovered she was the daughter of Caleb, the blacksmith, half sister/cousin to Lady Alice the Narnian. Lydia has worked as a bounty hunter, a spy, and an assassin in the past. She has little or no ethical codes to hold herself to so she is one of the main villains in Narnia.
As she was infiltrating the Narnian army, she met Jason, also a Calormene spy though neither of them realized they should be working together at the time. After several months, they each realized that as unlikely as it was- they were in love. A short time after this, Lydia faked her death, and Jason turned himself in to further this charade. The true purpose of doing this has yet to be revealed. When the court considered executing Jason for his crimes against the state, Lydia acted quickly, assassinating all who supported this plan. After being caught, she promptly escaped wit the aid of Alice. Following Jason's escape with the aid of his old friend, Jared, Lydia, and Jason headed back to Calormene to report to their superiors. Five years later, Lydia and Jason are married and, although they are not as adventurous as they were before, they're just as villainous as ever.

(Formerly Lieutenant) Christopher of Archenland ~Zilla/Slater
28 years of age
Most of his past is foggy but he grew up as a son of a blacksmith and always dreamed of going to Narnia until at 22 he left home and traveled to Cair Paravel to become a soldier of Narnia.
After a certain mission had been completed and he was traveling back to Cair Paravel, he met Lady Alice. Soon afterwards, they began courting. Recent developments in his life include that he has been imprisoned for five years after confessing to a crime he didn't commit out of love for Alice, who actually committed the crimes. He is currently in prison again, turned in by Jason, only going along with it to save Alice's life.
He is the cousin of Colonel Xaviar.


Colonel Xaviar of Narnia~Trep
30 years of age, 6'8 in height
Born of two great officials, Xaviar had an enjoyable childhood. He met Hope and was friends with her for most of his childhood. With the passing of his parents, he decided to join the army. Once there, he rose quickly through the ranks, reaching the rank of Colonel at only 25. Hope, distraught and confused, happened to stumble into a grand banquet. Thus Xaviar met once again his childhood friend. In time, he realized he was in love and asked for her hand. They are now happily married. Recently, Xaviar was kidnapped but he managed to escape, coming back to his new bride. Even more recently, complications of a mysterious kind have arisen and Xaviar plans to attend to them, leaving Hope to fend for herself for a while. Five years later, he has two children and is still happily married. Now, though he is being detained for suspicion of knowing about Hope's 'crimes'.


Hope of Narnia~Del
28 years of age, dark curly hair, green eyes
Hope's parents died a few years ago from sickness, and until recently, she hadn't quite been able to land on her feet. She had been wandering the whole of Narnia, her only possessions were the clothes on her back. She's very sweet, but quiet. She came to Cair Paravel looking for shelter, stumbling into a grand banquet. There she recognized a childhood friend, Xaviar, and she fell in love with him. They married, but even before one day had passed, her groom was kidnapped, leaving her helplessly at a loss. She went after her husband a lone but met up with two traitors - Lydia and Jason - and was convinced to let them join her in her search for her husband. Over all, the duo was a useless asset as she found Xaviar without their assistance. Hope and Xaviar are now happily back at Cair Paravel. Unfortunately, Xaviar has some problems or something and he plans to leave on a trip soon. Hope is a nurse, studying hard to become a doctor. Five years later, she and Xavier have had twins - Sophie and Xavier. She was framed by Lydia for murder and is in prison at the moment.

Jason of Calormene~CW
30 years of age, dark hair, 6'3 in height
Past is unknown, save that he joined the Calormene army and was recruited as a spy against the Narnians. He accepted and rose to the rank of Lieutenant before he was discovered as a spy. He escaped, with Lydia, to scour the countryside of Narnia to look for a treasure his grandfather had mentioned several times in his diary. They found it and split the gold instantly becoming wealthier than almost everyone in Narnia and Archenland combined. He recently confessed his feelings for Lydia to her, but then showed up at Cair Paravel, claiming she had died in a fire. This later proved to be a lie, the reason for which is unknown. He escaped from prison with the aid of Jared, his old friend. Following that, Lydia, Jared, and him headed back to Calormene to report to their superiors. Five years later, Lydia and Jason are married and, although they are not as adventurous as they were before, they're just as villainous as ever.


Sawyer of Archenland~Trep
29 years of age
Past is murky.
He was placed in the Narnian jail after killing a bandit, only to be released by the combined efforts of Lady Alice and Lieutenant Christopher. He then traveled to Calormene where he promptly reported to a man called "Jamous". After doing this, he began to travel back to Narnia where he ran into a Felicity, a young woman who also was traveling to Narnia. Five years later, his circumstances are unknown.

Brown curly hair, green eyes, tan complexion, half dryad, half human
Felicity was the daughter of a the great captain, Tulon, who died three years earlier. After receiving the news of their fathers death, Felicity, her little sister Annalise and brother Arcic's mother took ill and died....Felicity is now leaving her little brother and sister with some relatives in the Lantern Waste forest, planning to ride towards the forest near the castle Anvard to seek the counsel of the old tree Farum who dwells there. Along the way, she ran into Sawyer, a mysterious man who she is strangely attracted to. She also ran into a talking horse, Orthos, whom has been accompanying her. Five years later, her circumstances are unknown.

Welcome/Purpose

Alright, this new blog thing is really just a means of clueing y'all out of touch RPGers in. For example, you may have RPGed in a certain RPG for a while but you didn't post for a while. When you come back there are tons of pages and you feel the need to panic. Here is where I, because I am admin, will post recent major developments on the RPGs. I will also include a briefing on the characters included in the RPgs should you want to join and then you will know what it's all about. However, even as I'm typing this - I'm thinking - How in the world am I going to be able to keep up with all this info?! (We have 17 RPGs after all and I am not in 5 of them.) This is where mods or regular members (Like you!) step in. If something flies past that you believe is important, give me a run down on what's occurred (By PM or email) and I'll post it here.
